No no no, we're selling our house here in the UK...we're not in TX yet.

We don't even have boxes yet!

Luckily the people buying this house want the furniture too, and we had not planned on bringing it with us anyway so we're only taking our personal items.

I've been combing through them recently and putting what we don't want aside so we can give it away, to lessen the load. I donated 3 trash bags stuffed with clothing just the other day.

I hear you. My friend was in a similar situation, he sold his condo much faster than expected and had about two weeks to pack up and ship out. It started with relaxed list making and inventory, but toward the end it turned into piling stuff into what we called 'Random bags of #######" just to get it packed up, hehe.

Selling my house in London and getting all packed up was bloody awful and very stressful. I had to get rid of the furniture, sort out what I was shipping over, pack up the remainder and spent my final two weeks running around like a maniac...

I don't envy you H_A but.....think how much closer you are to getting back to the USA.
