I wondered this as well!

I actually did fill out a new one, but then forgot to give it to the officer during the interview 🤣 she didn't ask for it, and it wasn't an issue. I guess if you've had a big income change or job change you could bring a new one. Can't hurt to be overly prepared just in case!

We have our interview in less than two weeks! Just a quick question, did you guys fill out a new i-864 (Affidavit of Support)? I am a bit anxious of what paperworks to bring and am still trying to figure out how to organize all the documents. I am not sure if we should just bring another copy of the i-485 application we sent months ago!

We did not fill out a new one as I didn't have any new employment information. We did print off a second copy just incase they wanted it.

I used my AP on Wednesday. Can't believe how nervous I was using it but Seattle was wonderful. So we went to the US line and my husband said to the officer jokingly, "oh I'm bringing you trouble Sir" (I eye rolled and said oh I have AP) - he was thee nicest officer I've ever encountered in immigration and was nice that he was cracking little jokes. He laughed and said my pic has seen better days (so I'm going to beg for a new photo next week) haha :D

Was wonderful to be on familiar grounds in the UK and the Netherlands. Looking forward to my interview on Thursday.

How did the interview go? I hope it went well! ❤️

Hey lovelies,

Does anyone know how long it took from case approval on app to card production? My case has said approval for last 2 days. Just curious.

Thanks 🙏❤️😍

Approval and new card is being produced is the same thing. Your next update will be card pickup by the courier. Mine has been new card being produced for 3 days now. 😀😀

Mine sat on approval for a while until it got mailed! By a while I mean a few days; you will probably get a tracking number this week! ❤️

Sooooooooo happy for you both, you deserve this!

We have our interview scheduled for October 9th.  I spent the night worrying they wouldn't believe we were married!  I was having heated conversations about love and distinctly remember accusing "nondescript government worker" of not knowing what true love and marriage was really all about.

Not gonna lie, I still have nightmares about being told I'm not allowed into the US 😂 It's what this process does to us!

I'm sure you'll smash the interview though; I'll keep my fingers crossed for your good news! ;)

My husband has his interview Monday! We are so beyond anxious and READY. He had a phone interview as well for a job opportunity this morning. I know the process for the interview will include 2 more interviews for the position, but curious as to the time frame that people are receiving their card in hand after the interview? I've seen 7-10 days but then have seen around a month too. (We are one that never received EAD/AP @ 302 days) Thanks!

Hello my lovelies!!!

Card in hand 7 days after interview! So relieved! Isn't this the best feeling? I mind the K1 feeling simply out of this world but jeez this is peace of mind for just under 2 years! Thank-you everyone for everything! I know its biased (UK) but I wish everyone the best just dessert to enjoy the UK or home country to the max. It's a crazy journey.

Interview this morning and went great!! Started with the "you will have the decision within 30 days.." which led into conversation ending in "honestly, I'll probably approve this today and you should receive this within 7-10 days" WE ARE SO HAPPY! The only documents they took from us were the I-94, joint assets, marriage certificate (then gave it back because they had the original). They went through the basic questions on the app and just asked us when did we meet, when did we get married, and then where have we traveled together. We brought WAY too many pictures haha probably close to 200, and 2 photo albums that she glanced through.

Very pleased!

Finally! I’m so glad for you guys!! And APPROVED ON THE SPOT, wow. 👌🏼💖 time to celebrate!! 🍾🎉
