If he has a bank account, he should name you the beneficiary in case of death. Also, he should add you to his testament. Both documents are useful for the interview and a very important thing to do anyway.

Yeah you're right what if we process today that he must include me to those thing is it possible? He spoke it out coming from his that the house is automatically mine but surely I am not yet included on papers

Adding you as the beneficiary for a bank account takes a few minutes and it is done at your nearest branch.

The testament might take a little longer as witnesses are needed, and depending on the kind of will, a notary should be involved.

But you still have a month until your interview, so you have time.

Well 264 days here waiting for EAD/AP.  Our SR for outside of processing times I'm sure got us a whole lot of nothing. Called once we were "allowed" to inquire because it was finally 30 days after the submission of our ticket for them to only tell us that yes, it is assigned to an officer and you have to wait, if you would like to can submit a new ticket.. I'm like #######. Yeah, that's going to make me want to file a new ticket or new anything to make sure my case gets stuck somewhere again.

On the small silver lining perspective, Saturday we received a status change for our I-485 from Fingerprints received (since 12/2018) to Case is ready to be Scheduled for an Interview. Any Milwaukee office people in here that received that status change and can reference how soon after they received their interview date scheduled? I know it's a HUGE range for some offices, but I'm holding onto hope that maybe we are just going to receive the Green Card and the EAD/AP will just dissolved at this point..

Also can anyone shed any light on these stats:  http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/aosstats.php, for the column referencing the below I'm assuming that's the amount of days on average from your biometrics to your interview date in a sense if most people are receiving their decision on the day of their interview:

Avg. Days
btw Biometrics
and Decision Date

They are just showing the number of days from any reference point to any reference point.

That column refers to the number of days from biometrics appointment to date of the GC approval. That does not mean the date of the interview. That means the date either your status changes to approved or the approved date on the approval notice after the approval notice is sent.

Timeline

-We applied Nov 1, 2018, fingerprinted Nov 8, 2018, noted as "Ready to be Scheduled for Interview" on April 1, 2019, no updates since.

-We finally have the work permits.

-Based on where we live we expect the interview will be at the Dallas, TX office.

Questions:

1- When is the I-485 moved from National to local office?

2- What seems to be the real-world time interval after "ready to schedule interview" and actual interview?

Thoughts are appreciated, thanks!

1. It is perceived that it is sent to your LFO to wait in line for an interview once you receive the "ready to be scheduled" notification however some who have talked to USCIS agents on the phone state this is not always true.

2. That will entirely depend on the processing times of your LFO. If you look up your estimated processing times of yours you can use that to calculate the time from Noa1 to scheduling of the interview at yours.

First of all, congratulation for being Ready to be scheduled for an interview.

However, my field office is Santa Ana, CA but my case is Ready to be Scheduled for an interview since April 8 :(

My friend in the LA Downtown office had the Ready to be scheduled update less than for 2 weeks... She also got her EAD after 3 montsh of fileing, and I'm still waiting for that :(

Yes what I've seen is you're categorized in 2 buckets.. the pool of people that get everything very quickly (EAD/AP, quick turn around in interview statuses) or just the bottleneck group of people that don't receive any EAD/AP/Status Change. I have a feeling we won't even get the EAD/AP and we just will get the interview scheduled in the next month.. holding onto intuition and hope of course and also I have a friend who's wife moved here from Germany last year and she had her interview within 8-10 months of filing. Currently we just under 9 months.

Congratulations!! We also received a status change on Saturday to 'ready to be scheduled for interview'. Still slightly annoyed that my EAD/AP never appeared but I'll take any progress at this point! Our timelines seem to be pretty much exactly the same. Although we actually moved few weeks ago so now being processed by the Denver Office rather than Milwaukee,.

Anyone with experience of the Denver office out there?

Yeah the service requests/inquiries/blah blah are just . I don't even know why they still have those options because clearly they do nothing. UGH.

Well if you get scheduled soon, that would obviously be awesome. But I'm still holding out hope that you get your EAD/AP approval soon! It seems like they've been getting through the November stragglers pretty steadily (when I check the casetracker for 500 cases above and below mine).
