RFE for birth certificates

Hi, did they receive and process your BCs after the RFE? Or are you still waiting for it?

Well, I only sent them about two weeks ago but they did receive and sign for them, so now we are waiting. I am think we will have our interview date in the next three weeks. Why do you ask?

It made me think about how blurry and hard to read are most of venezuelan BCs. Mine is like that and I sent a copy that I had from 2015 that was typed on a computer and certified. The handwritten version of mine is completely impossible to read and my efforts to try to get a transcript were useless.  If your interview is happening in 3 weeks why they would send an RFE so close from that date? It seems like they're buying some time like others said.

I am sorry, I meant to say that I believe we will know the date and f our interview for n 3-5 weeks. I would agree though. My wife’s long form birth certificate is very difficult to read as well. I wondered the same thing. Do you now have your green card? Did you get an RFE as well?

I just filed 2 weeks ago so I'm patiently waiting I hope that you get notified pretty soon of your interview date. I'm hoping that I won't receive an RFE since it adds several months to the process here in San Diego, CA. I'm following this thread, please let us know what happens next haha.
