Hello

Embassy asked to submit passport to them, I has courier them via American Express.

My medical has been expired , they for now just asked to submit passport..so what I did

How much time they needed to ask for my medical as my medical is already expired.

And any experience about such matter? How much I will have to wait .

Our CR1/CR2 experience. Interview in Paris: 12/4/2019. Given 221(g) for missing document (Police Certificate for 15 y.o.stepson). The missing document submitted 12/5/2019. Status: AP till 2/26/2020 (85 days in total). US petitioner asked Congressman to inquire, and on 2/21/2020 it was done. Email from the Embassy on 2/26/2020 asking to submit the passport AND medical exam results. Medical exam results had been sent before the interview and received by Embassy on 12/12/2019 and are good till end of May 2020.

Can you please tell if the email means that AP is over and the visa will be issued?

Also, had someone had to do the medical exam again before it expired?

When AP is over and the visa is issued, the CEAC status will say "Issued."  If the medical results are still valid by date, I would just submit them again.  The request for them could be generic.

Thanks for the response! We do not have medical results. They were sent by a doctor in December straight to the Embassy. Do we need to ask for the doctor to send them again?

You could try that.
