We completed 5 years of NIW back in July 2018. Our I-485 was filed however way back in 2014 with finger printing done in sept 2014 and priority date Jan 2015. We sent two inquiries to USCIS in November 2018 then in April 2019 with no satisfactory response. We had our congressman office send an inquiry mid May 2019 and after 4 weeks they recontacted USCIS because of no response to the first inquiry and were told two more weeks. One week gone and one more to go before we get any response. My question is does any one have had any experience with getting their congressman office involved and if it helped out their case? What was your time line like? Just wanting to hear other people's experiences.
