I apologize if this has been discussed already...

I'm currently working on my application and I'm not sure if I should send tax transcripts for the last 3 years or not. I have a CR-1 Visa and it says in the online application that those are not mandatory but helpful if the Visa is marriage based.

If u don't send them (I'd have to scan all those pages) will u get a RFE or would they most likely just ask me to bring those to the interview?

Are you referring to tax transcripts, or tax returns?  Because the transcripts themselves are only like a page each in length from what I remember.

You can request tax transcripts online and instantly get them.  Just add them.  They’re 1-3 pages usually.

Exactly!  It was awhile since I requested mine, but I knew they were more concise without all the schedules, etc, of a full tax return. You can even have them send paper copies to conserve on ink.
