Heya Gang,

I just joined a group on yahoo called Baltimorebrits. I wonder if there's other groups around like this one? Anyone know? Is anyone on VJ in the Baltimore/DC area? Would be awesome to find out :) This group seems active and have a regular monthly social. I imagine it would be nice to have a "home" away from home group of friends, that share the british love of real beer and curry *L*

Just curious if anyone else on here is involved in a similar group! :pop:

Feb. 12, 2007 Application for I129F Rec'd by VSC.

Feb. 13, 2007 NOA1 Sent advising check was rec'd.

Mar. 1, 2007 Email stating NOA2 was hard copy sent to me.

Mar. 7, 2007 Hard Copy NOA2 arrived safely to me!

Mar. 8, 2007 *Touched* by London Consulate

Mar. 19, 2007 Craig Rec'd Packet 3

April 13 - April 22nd joining my guy in the UK for a much needed week of R&R!

April 27, 2007 Medical was successful.

May 16, 2007 Police Certificates finally arrive safely.

May 17, 2007 Checklist mailed to Consolute in London!!

May 30, 2007 Packet 4 Rec'd.

June 21, 2007 INTERVIEW DATE

June 23, 2007 VISA IN HAND!

July 21, 2007 Arrived in USA! Together at last.

Aug. 7, 2007 MARRIED!!

Aug. 21, 2007 Mailed off AOS & EAD Application (along with a whopping 1010.00!!)

Aug. 22, 2007 Application is signed for at the Chicago Lockbox.

"Bring on the battle for AOS!"

Not Brit, but live in Silver Spring (as it is suburb, I oversimplied the location as W-DC), having moved only a few weeks ago from Balto.

The restauarant I like best is Sapphire (in Laurel), but Shaheen and Indiclub (both in Woodlawn) will also work at a pinch (for the curry).

Am brit, and will be moving to Falls Church, 9 miles out from DC! There are alot of brits around, I imagine it's because its a government area...

We used to go to Baltimore quiter often!

Nov, 15: Green Card Recieved (even though it's yellow)! AWESOME

I have been searching and searching for some Indian Restaurants / stores for him to enjoy once he's here! Thanks for the advice!!!
