I don't think there are any public stats on this, and it doesn't happen enough for VJ to collect data on it either.

For the last case I read about someone on VJ rescheduling their AOS interview, their new interview date was several months later,  so I can't recommend doing it unless it's absolutely impossible to make the original date.

we have reschdueled our interview in boston office , they give us pass number , how long this will delay the whole process

I will be judgey...

Why would you want to reschedule it? There is almost nothing more important than your status.... The only reason i would understand is some family emergency.

I thin somebody wanted to reschedule it because they had vacation booked or wanted to go to a religious conference... Maybe if you search for it they might provided info if they rescheduled it or not..

To answer your question it can be from weeks to months depending on how busy your local office is....

Sure, you can try to reschedule your appointment. Then you are at the mercy of the ASC scheduling minions. There are reports in recent threads where some field offices do not have any appointment openings for several months or more.  So, who knows how long this will delay you're processing......????

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

ASC?  Why are they involved?  Biometrics have been completed

I had to reschedule our interview because my wife needed emergency surgery.

2 weeks after sending the request/sending in proof we received our new date, and it is 5 weeks out, just like the initial notice.

I think in the end it depends on how busy your local office is and when they have dates available.
