I had an interview February 10th, case was approved, status “Oath will be scheduled”. Nothing yet due to the pandemic. I submitted service request and got a response that I’m in line to be scheduled for oath. I’m hoping to get an oath ceremony this summer.

I was at the Baltimore field office this past week. They were doing N-400 interviews (5-6/h), with same day oath ceremonies for people without name changes. No other types of interviews from what I could see.

Hey there, I just took a look at your timeline, I believe you are still waiting for your N-400 interview as well, and you were at the office for an unrelated matter?

They canceled mine the day before it was scheduled(24 hrs prior) , I am surprised they rescheduled some interviews while my expedited application/interview was not.

Also, if you don't  mind me asking, how were you able to estimate the four to five N-400 interviewees per hour, is that what you meant? Your intel appears detailed, I was just wondering if you are an attorney or you just guessed/asked people around you

Thank you!

Hi,

I had an Infopass appointment not an interview. I was there for a couple of hours, so I just estimated based on how many cases I saw processed during my visit. They're doing the N400 interviews in the main waiting area and anyone who is in the room can essentially hear everything that's happening, which is how I got the information about the oath ceremonies.

Based on what I saw, it seems like USCIS is prioritizing N-400 applications, so I'm hoping your interview will be rescheduled soon!

Yes, I was interviewed in Feb, they said they could not make a decision at the time. Received a notice on April 23rd saying naturalization had been approved.

Congratulations! if possible, try to gather as much information as possible. Especially, the number of N-400 interview applicants, taking the oath?  Are interviews being conducted in private setting? anyway, anything you can share would be appreciated
