Anybody have a sense of how fast Baltimore is moving these days? Filed in late March and haven't heard anything at all. Not even biometrics. We live halfway between Baltimore and Pittsburgh, and in the past they've sent us to Pittsburgh for biometrics and Baltimore for interviews.

K-1 Process:

12/04/15 - Engaged (L)

12/17/15 - K-1 submitted

12/31/15 - NOA1

02/09/16 - NOA2

03/16/16 - NVC case number assigned

03/17/16 - In transit to consulate

03/22/16 - "Ready" on CEAC tracker

04/14/16 - Received packet 3 by email

04/15/16 - Medical exam

04/28/16 - Interview - Approved!

05/25/16 - POE at Miami

07/08/16 - Married! (L)

08/09/16 - Filed for AOS

08/12/16 - Case received

It is moving pretty fast now. I filed on July 23 and my status was updated on Sep. 23 that i have been scheduled for an interview for Oct 26. I didn't receive bio-metrics notice, I guess they used the previous one on file.

Good luck. I hope you get something soon.

Oh wow, that is super fast! Happy for you but also jealous! I thought they are supposed to take people more or less in order. Wonder if I should contact them?

Hi everyone - my wife had her Oath interview today at 12:45 in Baltimore (3 year marriage) . I was not allowed in and waited in the car. We brought all the papers we needed and more - but the interview didn't ask for anything. She breezed through the test, the application and just asked if anything had changed. My wife responded that we had had a son since applying, and we gave her a photocopy of the birth certificate. She updated the file with that information. That was it! It was 15 minutes long. She was asked to stick around for the oath ceremony at 2.15pm, so it does look like they are doing same day oaths if your appointment is early enough. My wife walked out a citizen! And she just registered to vote :)

Congratulations to your wife! Where did she register to vote if you don't mind answering? I'll have my ceremony this Friday and wonder if you need to go to SSA first before registering.

Hi there! Hope your ceremony went well. All we did was register her online in Maryland. We requested a mail in ballot for her and have just gotten notification that it has been sent to our house. She hasn’t gone to SSA yet. She appears as registered to vote when we check the voter registration records now.
