Agree. Add all that you can, better to just be upfront with it all now instead of risk consequences later.

It actually says to list all social media accounts that you’ve used within the past 5 years. So if you haven’t used MySpace for many years (as I haven’t), then you don’t need to list it.

What if a Facebook user doesn't have a user name but instead when you go to their home page it shows a long number as their identifier?

That's fine.  It's also known just posting a url link to the profile is ok as well, the profile url has the account id.

Last I checked it was not "All social media" There is a drop down box of specific services.

If we submitted the DS160 before that question was on the electronic application and don't have an interview scheduled yet, should we submit a new DS160 with the update and complete social media details before the interview?

I don't know if anyone has noticed, but upon completion of form filling, and jumping to review section, specifically address/phone number/email/social media, review section shows three questions which are not visible in the form during filling process, questions are:

Have you used additional phone numbers in the last five years.

Have you used additional emails addresses in the last five years

Have you used additional social media in the last five years.

I guess if we were able to see those questions during filling of the form we could list any additional social media accounts. But for some reason the above questions are hidden. Anyone have come across this issue?

MySpace still exists actually still log on for old pictures🤦🏾‍♀️ It may show up on a google search

I tried searching on Google doesn't work, I tried to reach for MySpace website,  an error message show up (you are not authorized to view this page),  I checked the email to which my account was linked to, still doesn't show what user name I had Haha, and It's been a long time I have visited my space, but I can't quiet remember if it's been more than 5 years or not.

If I had to fill out my social media use for the last 5 years, I don’t think I could.  I mean there are sites I’ve literally been on once.  I would probably just do the ones I’ve been on the most and I still had records of.  I had a My Space account years ago but couldn’t tell you my login or handle.  And what about the gaming apps that have chat features wouldn’t that also technically be considered a social media outlet.

Maybe with the drop down menu they just want those that are listed.  Since I’m not able to access the drop down menu on the form yet, I can’t say for sure.

by definition of social media VJ fits into the category/ like i said immigration can not possibly list all sites but VJ users can post comments, text to others and even chat in groups

i wouldn't leave any info off the ds 160 or ds 260

immigration says to tell social media used in last 5 years / does it have to say all??

HIgh fraud beneficary countries could get caught easily by not listing all

Social media are interactive Web 2.0 Internet-based applications. User-generated content, such as text posts or comments, digital photos or videos, and data generated through all online interactions, is the lifeblood of social media.

doesn't hurt to list it

it and all media on  internet

including penpail ,  dating and any other sites you use

i would list things even if it seemed totally stupid

My understanding is that there is a drop-down list to select from, it's not free form to write whatever you want. Assuming that's correct information, the universe of accounts to be provided is limited.

Your understanding is correct, as I've shown in a screenshot above.
