Still haven’t received biometrics letter 601a (10/01/2018)

Hey everyone! 

 

 

We submit my wife’s 601a last November with a receipt date of 10/01/2018.

 

we never received a letter for the biometrics, I informed our lawyer and he made an inquiry a couple months ago. After the inquiry we got a response saying that she has not yet been scheduled for a biometric appoint and that they would notify us when she is.

 

 

we are now about a week away from the inquiry date for the 601a and still haven’t received the biometrics appointment. I am worried at this point our 601a is going to be rejected because we never got biometrics done, but we never got them done because they still haven’t sent us anything for it. 

 

 

Ive tired calling 3 times and every time the representative tells me she can’t help me because my not the applicant. 

 

Ive talked to the lawyer and he says to just wait it out. That they are backed up and it will come soon. 

 

 

 

Any any idea what is going on? I’ve asked in the Facebook groups and they have all told me something is very wrong here.

I’m so sorry you are going through this, it is quite strange to me, maybe you should try and get help from your congressman or something. When I submitted my case receipt date August 15, 2018 I got my biometrics appointment a couple weeks later for September 20th 2018. I don’t know where you live but the office that does the biometrics in your area might just be a lot busier than mine. When I went to mine there were only another 2-3 people there
