Documentarily Qualified Error

Hi All, I received an email from the NVC saying that my case is documentarily qualified and the next step is schedule consular interview. However, I received a email a minute before this one saying my case status is updated. After checking CEAC website, the civil documents portion still shows "incomplete" with two new document requirements, which are identical to ones I've already submitted and approved, but with different wording (passport biographic page and police certificate)! I'm thinking this is a website error?? Please help

IMHO Don't play with it.  If you have the email saying you're qualified leave it alone.

I would say call NVC. I had isssues with the police record and tried for the life of me to understand what they were looking for because I scanned and sent over clear color documents and I kept getting a denied on that document specifically. I called and spoke to someone in my most sincere voice and he informed me that all four sides of the certificate needed to be visible. My mind was blown but you live and learn. Call them to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Thanks!! Makes sense that you have to take matters into your own hands so ensure it's done right..any advice on when and how to call NVC? Calling sends straight to voicemail

I have had very few opportunities of actually getting a hold of someone. There is more than one number floating around out there. The one that we all know seems to just be a recording. For the life of me I don't remember if I dialed another number or by luck dialed the same number and got through. Sometimes it just amazes me that someone actually picked up. At this point in my journey, I'm reading that NVC will not answer my question as it has to do with finding out my husbands interview date. Nigeria is a big country so I'm going to exercise patience. If I get through I will let you know.

Similar situation happened to us.  We called a number of times just to see if we were getting the right answer, and still don't have very much confidence in the answer, but the solutions seems to be to re-upload whatever is missing, and trust that your case is still moving through to the interview.

I think it's a technical error. I got through to the NVC and they said all my documents are fine, so I'm not uploading the additional ones. Good luck!

I'm having an almost identical issue.

I got the email saying the case was documentarily qualify, when I go in the documents under the applicant section say incomplete, but when I click on the incomplete I get a website error asking me to try again later, every single time from different browsers and devices. This has been going on for several days now.

Could the author or anyone else on this thread please share what ended up happening in their case regarding this issue?

Thank you.

We had the same issue. Last Submitted documents were reviewed but did not show Accepted. There were some additional missing documents and status showed Incomplete. We received DQ in December 2019 and IL in Jan 2020 even though status was incomplete. It appears NVC do not see CEAC that you see. They have different system to review.

Just checking if this worked OK for you. I have the same problem now (June 2020) and I don't want to mess with anything if I have the DQ e-mail in hand.

It looks like I have run into a similar issue.

my case is not DQ yet, I just received an email saying my case status is updated. My AOS is accepted but the civil documents is updated to Incomplete from submitted. However there is no inbox or email from CEAC portal, it shows 0 inbox.
