Hi Everyone!

I am starting the petition and hoping to get it filed by August. I am on the Address and Employment History page a have a few questions that I wasn't able to find here.

1. I don't remember *exact* dates for my past addresses/jobs. How detailed do I have to be here? I know the year, and am pretty sure of the month although, one address I am a little iffy on the exact month. Is a ballpark ok or do I have to figure out the exact dates?

2. I have additional addresses and jobs that I will add on the additional information page. However, I am confused by the numbers on that page. Do those number refer to the item numbers on the documents or are they new numbers? Also, if I am adding additional histories, I won't have an item number for that, what do I put? Just the page number and part number? Also, if I am writing them on a separate page, do I have to copy the questions exactly (ex: postal code) if it is N/A for me?

3. I understand the N/A and None responses, but for the boxes that are meant for numbers (ex. alien registration number on first page) or it is a "yes" or "no" check box, do you leave those blank or put N/A next to them outside of the box?

4. Under my Father's information, it asks for residence. He is dead. Do I put N/A or his last residence? For my mother's last name, do I use maiden or current?

5. Number 38a. asks if my beneficiary is currently in the USA (he is not), and to fill in his last visit if he is. The instructions say to "fill out his last visit". Do I fill out this portion even if he is not here currently?

6. When explaining the nature of our last meeting (to prove we have met within the last 2 years), do I just need to summarize the last meeting or attach a page and tell the story of how we first met and everything we have done together?

A huge THANK YOU to anyone that can help! :)

Use the dates you recall, then consider using supplemental pages (directions below), explaining why you are not including MM/DD/YYYY.

2. I have additional addresses and jobs that I will add on the additional information page. However, I am confused by the numbers on that page. Do those number refer to the item numbers on the documents or are they new numbers? Also, if I am adding additional histories, I won't have an item number for that, what do I put? Just the page number and part number? Also, if I am writing them on a separate page, do I have to copy the questions exactly (ex: postal code) if it is N/A for me?If that sheet is causing your grief, you can always add supplemental pages, cross-referencing the question on the petition to the on the supplemental sheets. Don't forget to sign and date each supplemental page.

3. I understand the N/A and None responses, but for the boxes that are meant for numbers (ex. alien registration number on first page) or it is a "yes" or "no" check box, do you leave those blank or put N/A next to them outside of the box? Leave blank, your beneficiary will get an A# with the I-129F visa petition approval (NOA2).

4. Under my Father's information, it asks for residence. He is dead. Do I put N/A or his last residence?Deceased For my mother's last name, do I use maiden or current? Current, does it ask for maiden?

5. Number 38a. asks if my beneficiary is currently in the USA (he is not), and to fill in his last visit if he is. The instructions say to "fill out his last visit". Do I fill out this portion even if he is not here currently? Take it literally,

If your beneficiary is currently in the United States, complete

Item Numbers 38.a. - 38.h.

6. When explaining the nature of our last meeting (to prove we have met within the last 2 years), do I just need to summarize the last meeting or attach a page and tell the story of how we first met and everything we have done together?
