I just received a request for evidence. They are asking for photos of us together (which I have), a personal statement from me including supporting evidence (what evidence can I use for this?), two affidavits from those who personally know we were together. We are working on the two affidavits. I will do a personal statement, but I don't know what evidence they mean for this considering I have the photos for evidence. They received my passport stamps to and from the Philippines as well as my E-ticket and itinerary to and from. They returned my scrapbook of photos, receipts, and ticket stubs so that is why they are ask in ng for additional evidence plus the personal statement and affidavits. I photocopied the photos 9 per page, 5 pages total. The 5th page has copies of the ticket stubs. I left enough space to sign our names, dates, and location, as the RFE specifically asks for. My questions are: 1. Will the way I set up the photos be good enough? 2. Are the photos enough for the supporting evidence to my personal statement? Thank you.

Is this for K1 or spouse CR1/IR1?

Would you mind sending a picture of the actual RFE letter? (with personal information blurred out of course)

I've just never ever seen a RFE for an affidavit of 2 people who are aware of your relationship, let alone for a K1...

Also, filling out your timeline and country where all this would be happening would  help us in helping you as best possible :)

To confirm, this is an RFE on the I-129F, right? It's not a 221g from the embassy (after interviewing for the visa)?

Is that all they asked for is did they just ask for evidence of meeting in person and included the affidavits as one example? The image is cut off so we can't see what is above it.

Gotcha, thanks! That makes much more sense....affidavits are the weakest evidence you can provide (nobody submits a negative one, and the CO has no way to verify their accuracy).

I would focus on verifiable evidence first - boarding passes, passport stamps (again), receipts for places you stayed or purchased items or ATM withdrawals, etc. Photos would then be secondary. Statements would be last.

I have plenty of photos of us together, almost 30. I have copies of the engagement ring receipt, all total ticket stubs and boarding passes, receipts from hotels/resorts and restaurants. 5 pages total of all that stuff that I will paperclip together with a cover letter on top and the RFE itself on top of everything, as per the RFE instructions. They already have the passport stamps to and from the Philippines, so I don't need that again, do I?

First of all, take everything out of your scrapbook. You are lucky that they didn't try to destroy it to get your evidence. They don't need, nor want to see things in scrapbooks. Use standard size paper, 8.5" x 11", not some exotic size that won't fit in a file folder. Put your evidence, original and additional, on the standard size paper. We had good luck using the two-hole at the top of the page systems with prong fasteners. The return envelope that they give you is a joke, at least the legal size envelope was for us when we got our RFE while we were doing the RFE response for our successful ROC. Assemble all of your evidence in large manila envelopes, the size and number depends on the amount of your materials. Rubber band their return envelope on the top of your manila envelope. I had good luck putting everything (in manila envelope(s)) in USPS Priority Mail Box, the size dependent on the amount of your evidence. Sending it USPS Priority Mail, delivery confirmation receipt return requested was our preferred method.

Finally, here is a useful USCIS link that talks about mailing materials to them: https://www.uscis.gov/forms-filing-tips

Good luck on your immigration journey.

I am indeed grateful for them returning the scrapbook intact. This is why I had the photos photocopied onto 5 pages and paper clipped together. Simple as that. Rubber banding their return envelope to the top of the manila envelope is just so I don't have to write down their return address, or do they need it for reasons?

Sometimes its much more prudent to do it their way then yours. Keep in mind the man with the gold makes the rules. JMHO.

you don't have provide everything on the list but I would send as many as you have. Did you not fill in the personal statement on the application? If you did, expand on it a little and try to tie the photos to the evidence you are providing. For example trip Jan 2019- flights, hotel and other receipts, photos from that time frame and if you have texts or social media posts discussing the trip, airport pick-up etc, together they corroborate the trip
