I need some feed back on what's next. So my petition is stating ready on the ceac site which was posted on 6/12. Can someone please let me know what that means? And what should my next step be to get the interview scheduled? Do I send the D160?

Please let me know

Thanks for any feedback

Fill out DS-160 save a copy of confirmation page and send it to email. Go to https://ais.usvisa-info.com/ to create an account. Pay visa fees and schedule interview. Once interview is scheduled go to https://www.andrewsmemorialhospital.com/ to schedule medical(you put information in the form and submit and they will contact you with the medical date. You will need:

1.) a total of 6 passport photos (4 for medical, 2 for interview)

2.) Certificate of non impediment

3.) Police certificate

4.) Original and copy of beneficiary’s birth certificate

5.) Passport( beneficiary)

6.) interview appointment letter and copy of ds-160 confirmation with barcode

7.) Any additional proof of relationship (they may not ask for it but better safe then sorry)

8.) I-134 affidavit of support

My Fiancé just had an interview last week and was approved and visa issued. They required 1 yr of tax transcripts (2018), 2018 W-2, 3 paycheck stubs( I get paid every 2 weeks so a month and a half worth.) I didn’t have a letter from my employer but I did have a print out of my job title, and how long I’ve been with the company. Good luck to you!

So which one do I submit first the Affidavit of Support or the ds-160?

Correction I know that I send the Affidavit of Support and all my supporting docs to my fiance but I'm trying to figure out how to go about getting an interview set up oh, so do I do the ds-160 or should I wait to get a packet from the embassy? We have not received a packet yet.

Ds-160 is first, then pay visa fees, then schedule interview, then medical exam. Affidavit of support and supporting documentation is taken with you to the interview.

You’re welcome! The packet is just an email that gives you the information I just gave you😃. You  will probably receive the email somewhere around 2 weeks after the embassy receives your packet from the NVC
