Employer information if stationed in San Diego Navy and tips?

Hey! First question I needed answered so far on our journey :) Probably the only hurdle in understanding the actual I-129f form!

1. My partner is stationed in San Diego, and we have read that we have to put his current "employer information" under a DFAS address, but also we've also read about just using the general United States Navy head quarters address as well. What address is more suitable for the employment history?

2. Any tips re: any other info about the Navy that you may have run into later on? :)

Thanks guys!

My husband is in the Army and from what I remember we just used the general HQ address, so I know that's fine.

As for the second question, copy of LES will be needed for the financial support documents.

Make sure you also research AOS

Is there a better way to do it? Wait times are way down and he won't be deployed for at least a year because his ship is in yards.

Personally I always suggest the CR1 to Canadian beneficiaries.  It takes longer, but you have more freedom once you move.  So it depends on how independent of a human being you are.  But you have to get married, and the visa itself takes longer.  It's just a one step process vs two.
