utility bills in her name

tax returns showing she works here for a US company

a deed or rental agreement from a residency here in the US

it is clearly stated a US residency is needed for immigration so she needs to establish one

your wife needs to check her email (look in all inbox including the junk mail)  as this notice would have been sent to her / congressman only gets the same info that was sent to you

a paper you were given day of interview or thru email would have told you she needs US residency and exactly what to do to show she has established one

thank you i never was given a paper mention US domicile that is sad because if we were given we would not wait all this you understand, there is no email in my wife email inbox or junk or mine, we found out through our congressman that is it...this should be reported to not give what we need to provide to our case instead no word from embassy this is not right....

embassy should have given you a 221g with additional info needed (or the welcome to the US phamplet )

they are not known to forget the 221g or tell you you are approved and keep your passport

i heard  letter intent to establish domicile is enough and mom natorized letter plus my wife she just renewed her drive lisence on same address, and have vote card same address, plus she receive letters there too do not you think not enough ? my wife been here 4 years not 5.....

You heard wrong. A letter showing somewhere to live is just one item for consideration.

The documents she has don't mean much if she is actually still living abroad. They might at least mean something if one doesn't have those and then started obtaining them in preparation for returning home. Focus on showing domicile or intent to establish domicile.

Some example are in the NVC wiki under "Domicile": https://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

That's unfortunate.......but now it is time to move past the anger.  Set a goal, Develop a plan, take action, and move forward.........

agree and in truth the embassy did not have to inform you

all they needed to do after the interview is return your case to the US and in 6 months you will see a NOIR/NOID which is what you are in store for now

so,  USC needs to get on a plane and make this right

Is Residence in the U.S. Required for the U.S. Sponsor?

Yes. As a U.S. sponsor/petitioner, you must maintain your principal residence (also called domicile) in the United States, which is where you plan to live for the foreseeable future. Living in the United States is required for a U.S. sponsor to file the Affidavit of Support, with few exceptions. To learn more, review the Affidavit of Support (I-864 or I-864EZ) Instructions

most in Morocco have several different cells

not sure what those who don't have it do but anyone without internet would not be on VJ
