AOS March 5, 2014 Submitted AOS with EAD/AP package to Chicago USICS

Delivered March 8, 2014 AOS packaged delivered to USCIS drop box

Accepted March 19, 2014 Text message with receipt numbers

Biometrics April 16, 2014 Biometrics completed

EAD May 23, 2014 Employment Authorization Document approved and went to card production

TD May 23, 2014 Travel Document approved and went for card production

Receipt EAD/AP May 30, 2014 Received combo card EAD/AP

Green Card Approved July 11, 2014 Approved, no interview. Went to card production.

Green Card received July 17, 2014 GC received without interview

Removal of Conditions

Mailed I-751 Dec 16, 2015 Submitted ROC (removal of conditions)

Received Dec 18, 2015 USPS notification of successful delivery

Check Cashed Dec 21, 2015 Check was cashed

NOA-1 Issued Dec 21, 2015 NOA-1 for ROC issued

Counterfeit divorce papers. I went to court and sorted it out. Now we are married. CR1 to follow asap. I will be making a post seeking guidance, hopefully I can count on you and our fellow VJers.

You be surprise if you have a difficult process ahead with the CR-1/IR-1 based on your papers being fraudulent. CO's are trained and are good at spotting things that don't look legit or hear things that are not legit. Best policy is honestly. 

 

Change your profile when you start the CR-1/IR-1 so many of us are not confused by your questions. Use the guide tab at the top of the page in the blue ribbon for help in filing your CR-1/IR-1 application. Good luck and stay engaged in the process.

The fraud wasnt deliberate, my ex did me bad but I guess COs wouldn't see it that way. What I did was file a new divorce myself against her, took the better part of a year but it's done now.

 

Will be sure to update my timeline when it's time. Thanks for the advice. I will.
