Good Morning

I just got my letter from the embassy (LAGOS) for my interview. Please how do I get a hotel close to the embassy and how much will it cost? I was informed that the interview is for 6:45am, how will I get a cab to pick me up that early.

I recommend agoda.com for the hotel, they have a map search feature that works great for finding hotels near an address. Cabs are usually around 24 hours a day. I don't think I have been in a country yet where I couldn't find a cab. Request one at the hotel when you check in, I'm sure they can have one there in the morning for you. I recommend you use grab, or Uber though, usually works better if they are available in your location.

I just checked, Uber is available in Lagos.

Here's a hotel I would use. Really close to the US embassy ( on Victoria island) maybe a mile or 2 max distance, and only 22 USD a night. Called Maria's Lodge. It's on Agoda, booking.com, or they have their own website.

About Maria's Lodge

Well situated in the Victoria Island district of Lagos, Maria's Lodge is located a 4-minute walk from Mega Plaza Century 21 Mall, 1.2 miles from Red Door Gallery and 1.7 miles from National Museum Lagos. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a bar and a shared lounge. The property has a 24-hour front desk and room service for guests.

All rooms in the guesthouse are equipped with air conditioning, a seating area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a kitchenette, a dining area and a private bathroom with free toiletries, a bath and a shower. The rooms feature a desk.

Lekki Market is 2.2 miles from Maria's Lodge, while Freedom Park Lagos is 2.4 miles from the property.
