Despite the mandatory liberal digs, this is quite worthwhile reading, with some surprising insights.  It also reaffirms his seemingly unprecedented availability to the media.  Thoughts?

'My whole life is a bet,' the President of the United States says, resting his forearms on the edge of the Resolute desk in the Oval Office.

 

It's a steamy evening in mid-June, and Trump is facing a set of high-stakes tests around the world.  Tensions rising with Iran.  Tariffs imposed by India.  Protesters flooding the streets of Hong Kong.  But Trump is confident, ready to joust.  He has invited a group of TIME journalists for an interview, blown past the allotted time and settled in for a wide-ranging discussion.  Along the way, he orders a Diet Coke with ice with the push of a small red button set into a wooden box on the desk, and directs an aide to fetch a copy of a hand-delivered birthday letter sent from Kim Jong Un.

Trump is going to do it his way again in his re election bid in 2020, so far he seems to have the magic and his base loves him.

 

I think now that he has the GOP on his side and has over a year to campaign and raise money while the democrats fight it out in the primaries he will use any and all means to win, I think basically Trump is a winner, and what ever he wants to achieve he seems to achieve it.

Not to mention he is able fundraise like no other right now. He has been perpetually fundraising since taking office and after declaring his reelection he got $30+ million in one day.

Exactly, He is building the bank to win.

 

He has really made American Politics interesting again, I personally have never been so involved and kept up with US politics since Trump took office, I feel sorry whomever has to follow Trump.  He will be a hard and probably impossible to have to follow after his Presidency runs out.

Exactly. What I like is that he is charting his own course away from either side. I was watching a Jimmy Dore podcast who is a far left wing guy who was actively congratulating Trump for not going to war with Iran.
