My fiancee had her medical exam today at Medikom.  Everything went great.  And she had great things to say about Medikom.  Nice facility, polite staff.  Medikom comes highly recommended by us.

For those who have yet to have your medical exam at Medikom, you should arrive about 10--15 minutes early so you're not waiting around too long.  The entire process took 3.5 hours.  Email with blood test results came a few hours later.

Next step for us... embassy interview.

Great news!  Thanks for it and for the tips about the process.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Good news. Was she able to DS-3025 with correct box completed? How did it go with vaccinations?

I told her all about that DS-3025 and those boxes (I even sent her that photo you provided to me) and I went over it tooth and nail in Skype last Sunday.  I think she was ready to slap me silly over it.

She claims she discussed it with them but she didn't get a copy of the DS-3025 today.  She needs to go tomorrow (anytime after 2 pm) to pick up her package for the embassy interview.  Maybe they will give her a copy of the DS-3025 then.  All her vaccinations were deemed up to date and the blood test confirmed she was good for measles, too.  This is what she told me.

Oh, ok so she does need to go back next day. I thought they managed to complete entire thing in a single day. Yes, I am positive she will get it tomorrow along with her X-Ray CD, and sealed packet to take to Embassy. Obviously you can have her scan/take picture of DS-3025 for your records.

She only needs to go back on Friday to pick up her paperwork.  There's no testing being done tomorrow.  All testing was completed today.

Hi Shiran:

My fiancee received her x-ray CD, vaccination form, sealed package for the visa interview and she thought maybe one other item but she couldn't remember what it was.  It has been like 1,000 degrees in Ukraine the last 3 weeks with more of it coming next week so she wasn't of sound mind and body when we spoke.  So this 'extra item' may not even exist.  I'll ask again tomorrow after she has had a good night's sleep.  She had just gotten back from a 2.5 hour train ride and then another forgettable trip on маршрутка.

I am hoping when I arrive two weeks from now the weather moderates to some degree.  My Irish ☘️ blood handles things better when the weather is closer to spring or autumn.

It just 33C and 95% humidity, perfectly normal for first day of Summer in Kyiv :)
I am curious which box they checked on DS-3025. Btw, she doesn't need to bring vaccination or CD to the Embassy. I highly doubt anyone ever will look at those X-Rays.

When she can see clearly in the morning, I'll ask her to take a photo of her copy of the DS-3025 and send it to me.  I'll inspect it and see what box(es) they checked.

If it's 33 honking degrees C on interview day for me, I might be like that witch at the end of the Wizard of Oz.

The inside I am sure will have HVAC, BUT they tend to make you wait outside for awhile before letting you in to go through security. (Wear easy to put on and take off belt btw) So be prepared for that. Also no chapsticks are allowed.

Thanks for the tips.  Oh, and she took a photo of her DS-3025 just now and sent it to me.  That box that you said SHOULD be checked IS checked so good news on that front.
