Withdrawing I-864: address?

Question about address:

Due to recent events I will now most likely withdraw my i864, cancelling my wife’s GC.

With regards to i864 withdrawal, based on my research I should write a simple letter requesting it to be withdrawn, listing identifying details such as the immigrant’s name, ARN, and associated receipt numbers including for the i485. Include receipts.

What I’m less sure about is where to send it as different sources list different addresses. For example, some say NBC, others both where the i485 was filed (Chicago) and local field office. My local office is no longer doing appointments so that’s not an option.

I guess it’s safe to just send it to NBC but can anyone confirm the best address(es) to send it to? Particularly anyone who has recently successfully withdrawn their i864.

Thanks.

You have to send your withdrawal letter to the address where you originally sent your I-485 and another withdrawal letter to your local field office. You dont need appointment. USCIS will reject application after receiving your letter. This can not be undone. So do it if you 100% sure about withdrawal.

Hmm I re read your post and you can NOT cancel your wifes GC by withdrawing I-864. Its only possible before visa or status has been granted. Its seems like your wife already got her GC. Too late.

Chicago is just a lockbox address. i just looked at my wife's old Form I-797C, Notice of Action,  I-485 Receipt, the office listed in the lower corner is the NBC.

Good luck.

Same. So back at square 1. Not Chicago but NBC then? Probably doesn’t matter but I guess for quicker action NBC’s the way to go as that’s where receipts advise sending updates?

Yeah my wife’s adjustment of status is still pending. She has not received her green card yet and based on processing times likely wouldn’t have her interview until at least 2020. Sorry, I could’ve used a better choice of words in the original post.

:time:

A blank timeline is a disservice to your fellow VJ group members and those relying on VJ stats to predict their own processing times.

Forgot to confirm the address with them. Is this still the correct address (found on receipts received 2018 and early 2019):

USCIS

National Benefits Center

P.O. Box 648003

Lee’s Summit, MO 64002

Google shows a different address:

850 NW Chipman Rd #5000

Lee’s Summit, MO 64063

One is a PO box, the other is the physical address.  If submitting via USPS then use the PO box.  If sending via FedEx or UPS then the physical address

YMMV

As other's have said, the top address is the one to use when sending in paperwork via USPS. That is the address listed on my wife's old AOS NOA1 receipt.
