Feeling frustrated

I know it's only Wednesday and our expedite request was only accepted last Friday, but surely it would have updated on the system by now? All fee's paid. Documents submitted and accepted except one. NVC Said in an email that the case was going to be immediately sent to London. No conditions in the email. Just that the us embassY was going to take over. Yet everytime Ive spoke to the nvc on the phone for updates  they tell me that they are waiting to review a document we re submitted on the 31st may. It was rejected due to not being in handwriting. And then when I tell them about the expedite I just get told "yes, we haven't sent it yet"  Anybody know what's going on.

The batches of approved petitions only get sent to the embassies twice per month.  Should be sent with the next delivery.

Even an expedite request? I was under the impression that it would be sent asap.

I believe the expedite is just for the adjudication process.

Huh? I expedited due to medical reasons and it was approved and is supposed to be forwarded to London for them to organise my interview.

I understand that.  What I am saying, is that I am not sure that the "expedite" applies to the actual mailing of the documents, as NVC sends them in batches.

But Surely they would have mentioned that? Instead of stating "immediately".

Had you expedited before sending anything to NVC it probably would have been better. You would have skipped being in NVC's clutches and done all that at the embassy like the DCF spouses do.  Now you are neither fish nor fowl and it complicates things in the normal process flow. Expedite isn't always a good thing or faster.

Like @Jorgedig said, the batches are sent twice a month from the NVC.  When they arrive the consulate will have to locate the file and then schedule the appointment with you.

I am not sure about how biometrics/medical is done there but that might be something you can get done early.

I spoke to the nvc and spoke to a supervisor and they said if I don't see a status change by Monday to call them back.

It left the nvc 😊😬 I've just had an email to say it's been sent to London. Thank you for putting up with me and my questions lol
