I'm not doubting OP's wife was charged with a felony---I'm more wondering if OP is being told the entire circumstances of the conviction/complete past history.

Thank you so much for replying, i think it was domestic violance

You think? You need to KNOW. Read my interview review in my profile to see how I was questioned about my husband’s record. Surely you want to know for yourself anyway. If you’re thinking of living with someone who has been convicted of DV you really need to know ALL the facts. Not just for immigration purposes.

You don't get to determine how people respond on an open forum. This isn't China.

If he chooses not to answer the questions that's his prerogative.

We don't need people here judging people.  In my experience, the people who make those comments are usually much worse off than the original poster.  They try to make themselves feel better about their situation by putting down others...

OP, it is very serious and you need to know all the details.  You also need to do your homework.  If the DV conviction is enough to not allow her to file will you still marry her if you can?  I know of a few cases where the couple can't live in her country or his because of his crimes.  Is you love strong enough to settle in a third country that will allow you both?  This is something you need to seriously look at.

Our K-1 was denied because I failed to disclose a 30 year old arrest where the charges were dropped (no court date) and the arrest was later expunged by circuit court order.  They look very closely at the petitioner's record.  Be careful and get every detail about this that you can find.  6 months for just threatening someone seems a bit harsh.  There may be more to it.

Good luck to you.

Excellent point! If her conviction is such that it is going to be impossible for her to petition the OP, will she be able to move to his country and live with him there? Might not be possible depending on the other country's restrictions.

We were lucky that my husband's record did not prohibit him from petitioning for me. Although it is severe enough for him to be banned from the UK forever. So we had only one choice realistically.

This is where we really see whether the aim is to get into the US or to build a life together with someone. If it's the latter, the location is irrelevant.

I dont have any problem to live with her in any country,  i just went now to the court in morocco to ask if a felony in past will stop us from getting married and they said No, we can get married

It would also be prudent to investigate whether her record would prevent her from living in Morocco, in case she is unable to bring you into the US.
