Hey guys, I had my interview in Jerusalem as well. Got verbally approved on 22 of May, no documents were requested from me during or after the interview, status still on ready until no and last update was on 21 June. Good luck to everyone on this annoying process.

I’ve noticed several times the Jerusalem embassy is slow at processing but if you got verbally approved and weren’t asked for anything else from you then you’re good as gold. congratulations.

just hold on and pray, the week has just begun

What's going on is they are properly adjudicating your case just as they said they would. More research on your part would have revealed the stages that a case COULD go through. When you failed to present tax transcripts at your interview you set your processing time back. The website, as reported by many, will uodate each time it's touched. That's progress.

Well am happy that the last update is today 24/June but what we don’t understand is the email they sent me asking me to send what I had already sent a week ago. I had to email them back saying it was a misunderstanding if that’s ok. Then I attached what I had sent them Incase🤷🏾‍♂️. We hope that goes well.

Yeah they are always understaffed and not up to date, you have to be on top of things with them cause let's face it end of the day this will only effect us not them in anyway.

Yes so true, it affects us not them, we need to be fast in responding and hopefully they do the same. We have more to gain than them.

I am compassionate and caring or else I wouldn't be here sharing the information I know and have acquired.  Just because someone doesn't like the information presented or how it's presented doesn't mean it's not valid or relevant or helpful.  This is NOT a support group.  This a "Do It Yourself" website to help others through their immigration paperwork without the help of a lawyer or for pay service.  The fact that there is support here, is a benefit but it's not the purpose of the forum.

If you disagree with my assessment then point out WHY you think I'm wrong.  There was nothing that I provided in my response to their statement that was false. If your feelings were hurt I can't help you with that.

You make this time difficult for yourself not I, nor USCIS, NVC or your Embassy.  You were promised one thing and that was a YES or NO answer to your application and your visa. Nothing else.

Hey guys,

so I heard back from them saying, and I quote “due to the household size, the income is not sufficient to sponsor me” and that was our co sponsor’s income.

Thing is my fiancé just got a well paying job and she could easily sponsor me without help but problem is she just begun working there yesterday 24/June and she’s been in college for four years so she’s never filed taxes before.

What can we do? Is there anything we could send in lieu of tax transcripts and should she fill out a new affidavit of support?

God is good, we got issued on 27August.

I’d like to thank everyone for their contribution and as well wish everyone a successful visa journey.

We’ll be writing on our profile explaining everything we went through and how we overcame it on this journey in more detail later on. Hope it’ll be of help.

Good luck to everyone and Pray.
