221g additional documents

Hello everyone,

 

i would like to share my experience in my k1 visa process. Cause it’s actually frustrating. But im still positive and keep my faith to god.

may 16,2019 was my interview only take 3-5mins and CO handed me white paper which is 221g together with my passport and told me to complete the documents she listed.

1.is baptismal certifacate -im late registered

2.my police clearance -from korea where i work last 2009

so did complete everything they asked and send it on may 28,2019 and delivered it on may 29,2019

they updated my case  

1.may 30,2019 (AP)

2.june 3,2019 (AP)

3.june 14,2019 (AP open case)

4.june 17,2019 ( undergoing necessary  AP and in NON IMMIGRANT VISA)

no idea what is that mean but hoping for a positive result.good luck everyone.

Sounds like you did all that you can to satisfy their requirements.  Best of luck to you in your journey, and hope for a quick approval.

Change to nonimmigrant status is a good sign.  It means the CO was satisfied with your documents.  Now normal administrative processing,  if all goes well, hopefully it will change to issued soon

Mine is also in the same category. They asked for my CV, publications, work history, questionnaire. I had my interview on 16th May at the Mumbai consulate. Now they keep saying administrative processing.

Update with my case.

after they change my status into

non immigrant the updated again last 17 and says AP is necessary and may take several weeks and june 27 the second time they updated same AP

Guys!

got my visa we jsut check it today and just realize that every 14days day update after they change it to Non Immigrant.

so for all of u there just wait youl get it

@Blandi777 yes really help prayers and you have to complete everything they asked docs and for sure they will give you your visa.good luck😃

Yes.thats what CO says after the interiew i have to send the passport together with the documents.

@Greenbaum, hello! I had my interview on June 27. Interview went fine. However, CO gave me a 221G slip saying "I need to send my fiance divorce decree and send it via 2go together with my passport". I sent the document they need on June 28 and US Embassy here in Philippines received it on July 1. 

 

Ceac updated on July 2. 

Until now still on AP and still no movement. 😢

 

I just wanna ask if its a good sign that CO asked me to send my "passport" together with the document they need? 

 

I am just so worried. 😢😢😢

Hi @Greenbaum...m a newbie here...m in the same situation sa @micmic0893...i was interviewed last dec. 3, 2019 and was given a 221g for my fiance’s marriage termination documents, can i asked for advice what will eventually unfold for my k1 visa application...thanks n god bless...

  don’t worry just submit the documents they needed (marriage termination documents)through their courier its in yhe 221g slip after that wait for tge mail.
