Hey everybody, hope you are all doing well. After more than 2.5 years I finally received approval for my F2A petition. I'm very happy but also a little concerned about the more waiting time ahead. I see that it's taking longer for CSC to transfer cases to NVC, then even longer for NVC to assign ID number and another long time to process and schedules interviews at the embassy. Is there a way to make the remain process smooth?

Kind Regards,

Congratulation, hope it moves smoothly now. While you can’t do anything to have them process faster, you can at least gather everything required for NVS stage like copies of police certificate, birth certificate of the beneficiary, your  i864 and tax return transcript, income evidences and such, so you can upload it once they ask for it.

Good thing you don’t have to wait for you PD to be current for visa processing.

Thanks. I don’t know why. After 2 years and 3 months they sent me RFE. It took me 2 months to respond and 1 month for them to review and approve it. In total 2 years 6 months and one week to get approval. By the time of the interview at the embassy I will be going on 3 years. Hopefully yours doesn’t take that long.
