Passport pickup from DHL Ghana

I’m asking for a friend, her husband had an interview on May 30th and was approved. He is now still waiting for the notification from DHL to pickup his passport and it’s been 3 weeks. Is there anyone here that had an interview around the same time as theirs, and actually picked up the passport?   Or does anyone know why the embassy is taking so long to release passports to DHL? Thank you

Actually it used to happened sometimes but you have to email the embassy to bring their attention on your case issue .

And most important to call them in addition to ask about the update of your passport after the interview. This sometimes works and you may get a good response or they will sees the update of your passport for you and let you know what to expect ahead.

I called and email...they rude and hang up on me. I wasted almost $10 in calls to Ghana...they do my husband the same way!

You don't have to call Ghana direct , there is a similar number operated in the States reference to the all US embassies around the world , if you call that number is the same as you have call US Embassy in Ghana .
