Hi Everyone,

I know you need to let USCIS know when your mailing address changes, but if your PHYSICAL address changes & the mailing address remains the same, do you have to notify them? (For both the petitioner & beneficiary)

Thanks!

very important that you let USCIS know the physical address/  at POE the officer will ask what address the spouse will live at /  what spouse  says must match the computer

also.  I believe ,  the physical address is where the green card will be mailed (on this i could be wrong)

USCIS wants address change report not just for mailing but also for statistical and report keeping. You are required to report if you move. You can specify different mailing address when doing change of address.

Ok, thank you both for your responses. I (the petitioner) will be moving back to the States to the address I already have listed as my mailing address and the beneficiary will be moving in with his parents until getting approval so I guess I will have to change both of our physical addresses. Thanks
