We just experienced some problems with my wife's name on GC, plane tickets, and her Vietnamese passport. We didn't have any problems with U.S. authorities, but we did have problems in Vietnam. Her Vietnam passport did not match exactly with the name on the plane ticket. Luckily, China Southern Airlines stamped her ticket, verifying that she was the legitimate passenger.

My advice is to have the name match the airplane tickets with the passport. The GC doesn't mean anything beyond the U.S. The advice about carrying a copy of the marriage certificate is meaningless. Those papers mean nothing outside the U.S. and are easily forged. It's all about the passport and airline/train, etc. tickets matching up. That's where you get checked. If you can limit/avoid travel, do so. You run a risk without an American passport.

Change your name on your passport just for safe side you have to apply for passport name change through nadra website i guess its online services you dont have to go Pakistan embassy. Also if i am not wrong you need to change your married name on your NICOP.
