Hi, thank you all in advance!

I have my interview tomorrow (Cr1 visa) at the embassy in Bogotá, Colombia. I got an email saying all the documents I need to bring for the interview but there is one that I don't know ( Prueba de solvencia económica or proof of economic solvency) from the petitioner. So I don't know what document that is exactly.

Thanks,

My understanding is that this applies if you used assets as part of your affidavit of support- so it'd be bank statements, 401K- any of that if you have it.

Thank you, I was worried about it!

Sure thing! If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take to get the interview letter after NVC finished with the case? My case was complete at NVC last week, so just trying to figure out how long the scheduling of the interview may be.

Sure, I got an email from the nvc on April 13 saying that there was a problem with one of the documents. We fixed it right away. Then we got another email from the nvc on may 13 saying that the documents and fees were accepted and then the email with the interview date was on may 25 and the interview was scheduled on June 17.

Congratulations! That is great news! How was the interview? What questions did they ask?

Thanks, they ask many questions but very simple ones. Such as where we met, when, how long until we decided to get married, if she had any siblings, how many times I have been there and for how long, where we got married, how many people attended the wedding, asked me to show pics of the wedding, what she does for living, if she lives alone, what her parents do and some others that I don't remember now but that are quite simple.

Are you having the interview in Colombia?

Thank you! Yes, we will be interviewing in Bogota.  I am planning to attend the interview as well (I am the USC).  Glad it went well for you- I can't wait for this process to be over

Yeah, I understand. It is a stressful wait. It took us 10 months in total.

Make sure you have all the original documents that you uploaded on their Sistem and they also ask for the original copy of the birth certificate of the petitioner.

I would recommend Dr. Jairo roa. He is not very charming but very professional indeed.

If the applicant doesn't have the vaccine records, they shouldn't get any shot until they see the doctor. I didn't have it and they gave me 3 shots.
