Hi ,

i habe ave just finished my fiancée ds-160 application. It gave me a confirmation letter. And there after no further instructions. I am a bit confused because o know i have to file an affidavit of support as well upload her documents and pay the fees. But I cannot access the page it just tells me “no Status”. I have a case number and invoice number hence why I was able to fill out the visa application.

Does anyone one know how or when someone can log into pay the fees or how to go about it?

Please help !!

hi

not for the fiancé visa, that's for a petition for a green card, a residency

the affidavit of support i131 with the proof is taken to the interview, no need to file and pay fees for it

Wait , so am I missing something ? For the k1 all I have to do is fill out the ds-160 and just wait till it changes status so I can schedule an interview and all the rest of the paperwork is received at the interview ?  And the fees are all paid there ?

i thought everything was uploaded to ceac. I’m having a hard time understanding because nvc is very limited with there information. I received approval from Uscis and then received confirmation that they sent everything to DR. They gave me a case number and id invoice and told me to fill out the application and the fees followed I have gathered all the information waiting to have access to upload.

have you read the guides?

it will guide you through the whole process and explain it better

To answer your question I have read and I have looked at blogs and I even spoke with a lawyer so that’s why I had thought that that would’ve been the process so I’m a little confused because I’ve already received the confirmation that my paperwork had went to Dominican republic and what would be the current fees to be paid for the affidavit of support and the visa application itself which was 160 and 265 so now I’m even more lost because I don’t know what do I do after this I’ve already filled out the application for my fiancé and when I check it just says no status as of yet so I don’t know about the interview or about the medical exam or anything else I’m just mostly worried about the fees.

Thank you so much for helping me out and your words and your time in reading minEs

For the k1 visa fee , has anyone had any issues trying to pay the fee online ? I have went to the link and created an account and when it states chose visa type or category it doesn’t have any where listed k1 and even when hit all others it states like A,Q,B,C type visa or drug trafficking or special exchange but I don’t see any where for the k1.

I have ave already done my ds160 and they have sent me a confirmation page but there are no further information how to proceed forward. I originally thought for the k1 you will need to pay the fees and upload all your documents but I am hearing that is not all true.

Please someone help!!!! I’m stuck and don’t know how to process forward.

Do you know how I can get to the immigrant page ? Right now I have a profile set up does that mean I need to create a new one ? My fiancée is in the Dominican Republic and we are just trying to figure out how to pay the payments and do we need to upload documents to ceac. Some people say you don’t you just pay the fees and all other paperwork you to physically with you to the interview.

Im just extremely lost on how to pay the fee. Also the affidavit of support fee. It’s confusing logging onto that page and it gives me no option for my k1 but I already have all my case numbers and invoice numbers.

If if anyone can help directing me directly please message me or replay. I don’t want to delay the process but the information once ds160 is completed is limited.

No such thing as an affidavit of support "fee" for k1.  Ignore any reference to invoice number as well, it is not used for k1.

Are you following payment instructions specific to the DR?

Found it!!!! I see where I made the error...I was selecting the wrong option. So I’m assuming the k1 is consider a non immigrant visa but when filling certain forms it’s consider immigrant.

Im basically looking threw vlogs and blogs to see how to move forward. I know that there was a fee for the visa and I was seeing fee of 160 for affidavit but then I’m seeing people telling me that you don’t pay that , that is only for when you AOS for fiancée . That paper work you can just take to your interviews.

The fee is $265 for the k1 Visa interview.  Period.  Outside of that you will have a fee for the medical.  The i134 affidavit is hand carried to the interview

AOS acronym is used both for affidavit of support AND adjustment of status.

I have read this before in the past it’s saved to my drives , I was just stuck on We pay the fees and we don’t need to upload no documents but take it to the interview directly with me and my fiancée. I am seeing that uploading those type of financial and bios to CEAC is only for AOS.

I also see that the affidavit of support there is no fee that one pays...it’s just confusing. I have even asked Lawyers and it’s been confusing.
