Hi guys, I’m just preparing myself and gathering paperwork for NVC and interview.  I need advice and help regarding previous divorce papers. My daughter is filing for me and she only has certified copies of my divorce papers from USA, does she need to mail the originals to me for me to bring to my interview where it will be in UK? OR can I just bring photocopies to my interview? I’ve lost my original and there’s no way I can get them again unfortunately.  If anyone knows and can guide me I would appreciate it!! Thank you 🙏🏼

The reason why I posted here is because there’s more people on this thread and I would have better chance getting an answer quickly. It shouldn’t matter which category my post belongs to,  if it’s IR1/CR1 or IR5.... the process of my question is the same! I just needed help and you basically threw it out. Very rude!

Originals or certified copies of civil documents are always required at interviews. Photocopies go to NVC to be checked, but you need to bring the real deal to your interview.
