Hello,
We have been unable to make an interview appointment at the U.S. Embassy in Algiers. The DS-160 has been filled out and submitted, the fee at Aramex was paid over a week ago, and I have already had my appointment at the clinic. Every time we try to make an appointment, it says "no currently appointments available". The calendar feature does not even show up. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make an appointment or what to do?

Thank you.

This is a common practice amongst embassy's. When their calendars are full then you must wait till they open up a new set of dates. Checking frequently throughout the day you may find a cancellation, otherwise you must wait till the embassy opens their calendar. Not much you can do. Calling the embassy will not get you an appointment because they are looking at the same calendar that you are.

If you are interviewing at Casablanca embassy then they will make appointment for you and send you an appointment letter with all the details unless things have changed because the only appointment Casablanca allow you to make is infopass but all appointments is made by them

I have this to share.

When you have your case number, enter it here https://ceac.state.g...ker/status.aspx and it will tell you one of three things,  at NVC, In Transit, or Ready. Once your case shows "Ready" then you email the consulate and request an interview. Include your name, fiancés name, case number and that you're looking to schedule a K1 Fiance Visa interview. I heard they'll email you back within 2 weeks or so but some have heard back the same day that they sent the email.

When they email you back they'll tell you when your appointment is. Attached will be packet 3. Includes a list of doctors to choose from for the medical , your rights and your appointment letter. At that point - just get your papers together. Usually your fiancé gets the police records in a week. Court records same day. Celabecy letter same day. And birth cert in the same day. Once you have them, then dropped them off to be translated. Picked them up in a week. Already you're at 2 weeks for gathering the fiancés paperwork. On top of that make sure your fiancé sends you their documents (I-134, proof of relationship, taxes, pay stubs, letter from employer, updated letter of intent..).

My fiancé and I waited six weeks for an appointment to become available on ustraveldocs. Just keep checking (I realize it’s frustrating since you can only check a few times before you are locked out of the site)

Thank you for everyone's input. We emailed the embassy and after a few days, they got back to us saying they would find a resolution. And the next day, appointments were available! So we are now scheduled for July 3. Every embassy is different, but my advice to anyone else would be to send an email asking when appointments will be made available.

On the list of information we were sent, it first gave you a list of items to gather BEFORE scheduling the appointment, and one of these things was the medical examination. I have seen conflicting info about which appointment should be scheduled first.

Hello,

You should be in the US by now and I hope that all went smoothly for you. I am finding myself in the same situation at this moment. No interviews are not available for my fiance. Can you share your experience? How long was the wait for you at the time of your interview?? Thanks
