Ok it's 4:57 am and I just checked my emails, London have accepted my expedite request. I'm so overwhelmed. I probably still have awhile to go. I'm unsure how long this part will take. And what exactly happens next. Does anybody know what happens now. I won't be going back to sleep now lol.

Explain what you did at NVC first.  Did you already submit anything? Do you have a case number? Pay anything? Need to figure out where you are.

Do you know there is a UK forum on VJ for London help?

Sorry I got ahead of myself got a little over excited and didn't write everything I should have. All fee's have been paid, all documents submitted and accepted, except one which was rejected due to the wrong format but that was resubmitted 2 weeks ago. I had an email to say they are forwarding the case immediately to London and that the nvc will no longer be dealing with the case. I am a cr1 Visa category. Do I have to organise the interview myself now. Or do they still arrange interviews?

1. Prepare for your medical---4 passport photos, all shots, police certificate, patient summary from GP, questionnaire filled out, any special GP reports on illnesses.  (You likely have all this if you were in such a hurry that you expedited.)

2. Make medial appointment,

3. Make interview appointment, which includes booking the courier. Allow 2 weeks between medical and interview. NOTE: YOU DON'T HAVE TO ATTEND THE MEDICAL BEFORE PICKING AN INTERVIEW BOOKING.

4. Take all original documents (birth certificate, police certificate, etc), confirmation of DS-260, conf. of paying, to the interview.

This page has a jumble of instructions. Yours are in the middle https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/family-immigration/how-to-apply-2/. This part I copied below is what you do, but read the other things on that page in the link

After you have attended your medical examination, you should then schedule your visa interview through the Visa Appointment Service website at https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv and follow these instructions:

  • Select “I have received a letter from the consular section with instructions to schedule an immigrant visa appointment”;
  • Follow the onscreen instructions to register an account;
    • A separate account is needed for each separate case number. If your family members are applying under your case number, you may “add” applicants to your account after you have added your own details.
  • You will be asked to select your delivery method for the return of your passport if your visa application is successful. Delivery to a courier depot is free. If you wish to upgrade to home/office delivery you can pay an additional fee through your account;
  • You will be offered the first available interview date, but you may choose any available date;
  • Please go to “Print Instructions” in order to print your courier confirmation page. You must bring this with you on the day of the visa interview.

Thank you. I have all those documents I just need to get 4 passport pictures and print off medical questionnaire and fill it out. But I can do that quickly and easily. I booked a medical appointment for the 1st July before I heard back from the expedite request. Do you think I'd possibly have an interview in July? It's medical reasons due to high risk end of pregnancy and surgery. Thank you for the information provided.

If you already have the medical booked, then go find an interview date right now. I haven't done online booking myself, but people describe it as a date gets offered, but you can carry on and find the other open dates thatmight suit you better.

Yes, July should be open. Start a new thread in the U.K. forum if you have any trouble with the specifics of the booking process. There are lots of K1s in that forum who also use the same booking system for their interview/courier who can help. At this point, your process will be much like the K1s except your documents (application is DS-260 and your Affidavit of Support is I-864). But booking and checking status of things will be the same.
