DS-3032 & AOS Bill

I cld and emailed NVC on Tues to see if my case # has been assigned. The rep told me what I needed to hear, however today I recv'd the below email. What does it mean? Have my DS-3032 & AOS bill been generated? Can I go ahead and send in the choice of agent form? Or should I wait until it reflects on the IVR system?

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

The Agent of Choice (DS 3032) form and the Affidavit of Support Fee

processing bill are being sent. Please allow 2-4 weeks to receive this

information.

The correct case number is KNG2007******.

I think so. Call their automated system to see if that's what the message says, it will tell you as soon as you plug in your case #. But I'm pretty sure that's what it means.

I tried already and it states the same thing as before. It says my case # is blah blah blah and the beneficiary should recv correspondence in 4-8 wks.

Dang, you know what I think it is? In James' shortcuts it says that they update their system on Tuesdays. So even though they've generated the DS-3032 & AOS bill, you won't hear it when you call until next Tuesday.

You know, I'm pretty sure your stuff has been generated or you wouldn't have received that e-mail. The thing is, the more you wait, the longer the process will be.

Ask the NVC operator whether DS 3032 and AOS Fee Bill are generated or not.

Yes they are very enigmatic - I have received an email that was impossible to decipher... that was from USCIS actually and referred to 'previous approval' of my case - that got my hopes up but it had not been approved at that time.

I agree with other posters that the ONLY way to be sure is to call the human at nvc and ask if the form has 'actually been generated' and ask for the actual date it was 'generated' just to make doubly sure

Thanks everyone for your input, but I did call last night and was told the DS-3032 & AOS bill has NOT be generated. The man even had an attitude and asked how can it be sent IF the case was just assigned on the 28th? I told him I didn't know maybe he should ask the person that sent me the email.

Man, what's with their attitude? They're the ones who gave you wrong info in the first place.

the problem is in the language used in the email. it didn't say it has been sent only that it's being sent, meaning that they are in the process of sending it. i always waited until the automated system updated and told me that the forms were generated and if i wanted to be certain i spoke with a rep. don't let them intimidate you, you have a right to call anytime and get any information you need.
