Passport/Meeting Question Advice please..

Good Morning everyone,

I had a quick two questions. I have never visited my fiance in his country, I am caring for an elderly parent and child;/work keeps me a little stuck.

My questions are, do I have to have a passport to submit with the initial petition to USCIS or will a copy of my US birth certificate suffice?

Also, since I'm not going to be boarding any planes any time soon, it makes our proof of meeting a little bit more difficult. If we were both to take a small trip and ride the train, would this be something they could consider as evidence? We're planning submitting his I-94 and boarding pass etc to show he got on the plane to OKC, but that's not really proof of meeting me. So aside from going to the movies together and zoo etc and submitting pictures of us there with the receipts, I'm not sure what else to send.. Any advice would be welcomed, thank you. -

Your BC is acceptable

I would also include the pictures of both of you and if you have any texts or social media chats between the two of you discussing the trip.

The above is secondary evidence and has little value for proof of meeting

Not any more than simply documenting that someone arrived in the country. That does not show that they met, just that he entered the country. The photos and chats are corroborating evidence of the meeting and timing.
