F2A Final Action Date current makes a difference ?

Hi,

So F2A Final Action date is current, but my spouse is outside the USA and My I-130 is stuck is CSC, which is processing late 2017 now, while my PD is late 2018. So technically, will F2A being current make any difference for people like me ?

Also, since Processing centers like Vermont are already processing I-130's up to Nov 2018, does this mean that those folks who applied in 2018 and were lucky enough to escape the CSC nightmare will get their GC before those who applied in 2017 and ended up in CSC ? What sense does that make ? ( and is also grossly unfair )

Also, is there anything people in my situation can do ? Will Senator/Gov help ?

Unless CSC reallocates personnel to handle I-130s for F2A, or decides to transfer the cases to another service center taking less time, the processing time there will remain. That's just a function of staff available and how long processing a case takes. They can't just process cases faster because more visa numbers than applicants are available.

They may get their I-130 approved sooner, yes. Unfair? Kinda, but it's the same for USCs who get assigned to different service centers. Some people are lucky and processed quickly, and others are unlucky and it takes longer.

Unless your case is outside normal processing timelines for your service center, there's nothing to do but wait.

If you qualify for an expedite (https://www.uscis.gov/forms/expedite-criteria), you can request one.
