Biometric appointment for 7yr old? (split)

Hi I received a biometric appointment for me but  I didn't received any for my 7 year old son and I wonder why and when I try to call the uscis both of the agent told me different the other one said they gonna forward an appointment for my son and the other one said my son doesn't need biometrics that's why I did not received any letter regarding with my son. Now I'm confused :(

You should definitely receive one for him. I went and did my biometrics and re scheduled his appointment. It was originally same date and same time. Once I rescheduled for him, I received his new appointment letter after just  4 days. So keep calling until you receive his letter.
