Hello guys sorry for late update I'm being busy for the past days. Our interview went pretty smoothly on February 20, 2020. It only took around 20 mins. I think it didn't take long because me and my hubby prepared a lot of documents for our evidence.  IO didn't even check our original documents but he went through our photo album page by page. Some interview questions: Name of both parents?  our DOB? How you guys meet? When you guys travel together first time(specific time)? Go over the I-485 Form and Yes/No questions with me and go over I-130 Form with my hubby. Once we finished our interview we were approved on spot, the IO said he will review and update our status on that day. After 5 mins we walked out the office, our online statues changed to New Card is being produced. YEHHHH!  Then on the February 21, 2020 the status changed to Case was approved as well as I-130. On February 27, 2020, I physically received my gc on hand.  See you guys 1 year and 9 months when I need to fill my ROC~~

Washington DC Field Office (Fairfax, VA)

PD: March 4, 2019.

GC on hand: February 27, 2020.

I want to say that when I checked the processing time before it shows 11.5 months so it's pretty accurate for my case. Hope all you guys will get your gc soon. 🙏

Congratulations. thats a good strange thing! Did it say they they will send you a notice with the interview date?

looks like they may be processing interviews for EB faster than FB.

So we finally got our "Interview is Scheduled" status change this morning 2/27/2020.  Good news and bad...

The problem is that we are having our destination wedding ceremony around March 28th out of Florida to the Bahamas...it's on a cruise ranging from March 26-30 so if they scheduled us then, we have no choice but to reschedule.  We've already invested lots of money and our guests have already booked flights and secured hotels (some coming from overseas).  I'm hoping they schedule us for at least before March 25th but from my understanding, the interview is usually around exactly one month from your status change.  Hopefully the notice gets here in the next few days and we know our date.

Anyone have experience re-scheduling with the DC office?  My idea was to schedule an infoPASS appointment via phone and then present our information to the actual field office, including our wedding contract, bills and costs associated with our wedding and necessity to reschedule.  Unfortunately this is something we can't just outright postpone or cancel.

Wow that is cutting it really close. My interview was scheduled about 5 weeks after the status changed and 1 month from when the actual notice arrived in the mail so you could get lucky and have the interview immediately after you get back. Hopefully it all works out!

Interviews set for April 7th! EB3 still not current but I'd be happy to get the interview out of the way. I just hope covid-19 doesn't cause this to be delayed or cancelled :(

Interview is in 3 days for us! I really hope USCIS doesn’t start shutting down their offices before we’re done with this process.

Hope so too! Ours is next Monday. They haven’t said anything about closing yet! They just asked everyone who’s sick to reschedule. Hope it doesn’t change

I know our field office in Fairfax has opened up an old section on the first floor to make a larger waiting area and keep people separated as much as possible... hopefully that’s enough to keep them open for a bit longer. Seems like they will inevitably have to shut down for a while though.

Baltimore Field office just closed.... not looking good. Has anybody had a call to reschedule? Up until now they have been rescheduling only some appointments each day to minimize the amount of people...

Just found this post. My interview was supposed to be Mar 26th at Fairfax office. Just saw Twitter that USCIS office will not provide any in-person service at least till 4/1. Guess our interview will be rescheduled. Please keep us posted if any updates. Thanks!

My interview is on Thursday 03/19 and I have not received any messages or calls.

It feels surreal that it may get rescheduled after all the waiting.
