Ok this makes sense now, apparently your case is still pending because your PD just became current this month (as well as mine).

My status is "response to RFE received" - I got an RFE in early August from the FO and I promptly replied back.

Hopefully we both get some good news soon, if not it October, at least in November

I'm hoping. Feels like a constant wait.

Hey Guys,

We had an infopass appointment today and I just wanted to share that the Fairfax office is a literal ghost town. I get that Covid is scary but they could certainly do a bit more in the way of appointments. Not sure if this helps anyone but just wanted to point out that traffic is low.

Waiting to see what a mystery envelope from USCIS is today... Hoping it might against all odds be an appointment letter for interview (although no status changes online...)

I have TWO mystery envelopes coming in today... My interview has been scheduled and I got the notice a couple of weeks ago. No online updates on anything...

I have applied for my EAD renewal but already received a notice for that too.

I’ve been anxious since this morning when I got the Usps delivery email. I wonder what it could be...

OMG so exciting.

Sadly letter two was just standalone approval of my I-131, despite the fact the other letter was approval of both EAD and AP. However, I'll take it as with USCIS any forward progress these days is huge, and I count myself as very lucky to be in my shoes versus some of the poor Feb filers who are still waiting for biometrics...

Fingers crossed DC moves faster than its typical 12 months speed!

Actually this was also one of my questions.

According to "official" case processing times from egov.uscis.gov, the processing time for an I-485 application at Washington DC is 12 months to 35.5 months (in the big blue box).

However down with smaller fonts it says the case processing times for Employment-based applications is 8.5 months to 23 months. Doesn't this contradict the former one?

The former is family based - it is fairly normal for service centers to have different time estimates for family based vs employment based.

So you say that this blue box refers to only family based cases? Because I don't see that specified anywhere

It is because the blue box should refer to the "union" of all cases (employment *or* family based). i.e. it would have to be 8.5 months to 35.5 months to make sense.
