Did you expedite or anything? You are 4 months after me and I haven't heard anything yet and when you look at others you filed 6 months after them and they have yet to be scheduled. Got to love this process lol

No I didn't expedite. I have no idea how this happened! I was expecting 7-8 more months of waiting.

ROC mailed (from overseas) 7/7/2022

Delivered to lockbox in Phoenix AZ 7/18/2022

Text with case number & check cashed 7/25/2022

Fingerprints applied 8/10/2022

It says Approved!?!?  8/23/2022

Finally received the Green Card 9/30/2022

I filed in early July and haven’t heard anything yet.  Soon it will be one year since “case is ready to be scheduled” status 😕

I am sure yours is close to the top of the pile by now.

I think they do this just to mess with us :)

We had our interview this morning! It was a smooth process. We arrived about 10 mins early and were called about 20 mins after our scheduled time. The officer said she was ready for us at the scheduled time actually but nobody informed her we were waiting. She swore us in, then basically said she had no questions for us as our evidence was strong and there was no doubt as to the validity of our relationship. She asked if we had any updated evidence we wanted to include and I provided our documents and then she went over the questions on the I-485, made a few updates like our address and my husbands work history. She confirmed when we got married and asked why we moved to Virginia. We also have a pending I-601 which she did not really ask much about either because once again we provided a very detailed statement and evidence. Then she said she would approve us right away if it were not for the waiver and she just needed to review a few documents and both applications would hopefully be adjudicated by today or tomorrow. The whole thing lasted about 20 mins and was a pretty painless process. Good luck to everyone still waiting! Hopefully we’ll have that GC in hand very soon

Thanks for the update! And hope you get the GC very very soon!

Hey guys

so i got my GC in April with 10 years validity after my interview was cancelled due to covid. They approved my case (I130 and I 485) without an interview and mailed me my card as well. We called uscis that time to confirm if this was legit and not in error. They said it is true.  However, today i just got a noticed for I485 interview? What does that mean? Anyone else experienced this? Shouldn’t their system show already that i have GC issued?

I have seen a couple of cases just like yours. I believe this happened to @Sarge2155

From what I’ve seen, the interview letter was a mistake (they found out when they attended the interview that never happened lol). I’d recommend you just go prepared for the interview in case it really happens. With USCIS you just never know 🤷🏽‍♀️

That's  right it happened to us we attended anyway or tried to. We got it in writing on the NOA that we showed up and tried to attend  but it was a mistake.  With  USCIS you never know so plan to attend to cover your rear!

Thank you for this info. I am relieved to know i am not the only one. Here is the concern: my husband was the petitioner and he is currently on military training and not with me. (Well we didnt know this will show up at your door) so i called Uscis tier 2 officer today and they said to attend interview because we can block the GC anytime so it is safe to attend if you got the notice than to skip. And that i can show my husbands military orders. But do i need to call them and tell them beforehand of this or just take the order forms with me?

he has been kind enough to look after most of this process for me and now i am a little concerned since i am not prepared to handle this situation.

any guidance on what to do and what docs are essential would be helpful!

to add to the misery i am travelling out of country on 18OCt!! And i have my interview on 09OCt. Ugh

Same thing USCIS told me when I called. I would go to the interview  since you already have your green card, go prepared to interview. They might catch themselves and call you a day before to tell you not to come, so it's  really your call if they do call you. I recommend you go regardless what happens take your husband's orders and of course  your GC your local  office can surely see you have been issued your green card already in their system. I know it's  a big hassle, but you have to cover your rear!
