K3 is Expired

Hi everyone, I have a question that I am hoping someone can help me with.

My K3 visa interview date is June 18th but my K3 approval noticed expired on April 19th.

When I move to the US I have to apply for the Adjustment of Status and on the form it asks my K3 expiry date.

Will the Montreal consulate renew my K3 approval notice?

If not how does this affect me applying for the AOS when it is time to apply?

Thanks

Laa

The expiry date of the visa IS NOT the same as that of the approval notice.

How can you have an expiry date on a visa that hasn't been issued yet (as you have stated, it isn't going to be issued till 2007-06-18)?

The expiration date that the I-485 is not visa expiration, it is the date noted on the I-94 card in passport indicating when you will become out of status, this is 2 years after entry to the USA on the K-3 visa.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

The approval notice is not a K3 approval. It's a petition approval which allows you to apply for the K3 with the consulate (yeah, I know how stupid that is). The I-129F approval is automatically extended by the consulate when they have your case.

For AOS, as others mentioned, the date requested is the expiry date of your I-94 which you will receive when you cross the border with your K3 visa in your passport.
