Can I move from the USA to be with my fiancé as we wait in AP?

My fiancé and I applied for the K1 Visa. He’s from Iran so we’re in Administrative Processing to see if we qualify for a waiver under the Presidential Proclamation 9645. We have been waiting over a year now.

 

Any petitioners like myself move from the USA to be with their fiancé in another country? Would that effect our case being that I’d need to be able to financially support him when he gets the ok to move here? 

 

Any help suggestions and advice would be helpful. Thanks everyone.

I actually don’t know how it affects a pending K1, since the USC is supposed to have domicile in the US, and when it comes time to AOS, you’ll need to show proof of sufficient income (US-based).  Typically this question is the other way, where the foreign fiancé wants to wait out AP stateside.  

 

If you can maintain a residence, and have a job when you come back (take an loa, for example) then logically I don’t see an issue, but USCIS isn’t always so accommodating .

Not an issue so long as you can either sponsor your fiance still (if using assets and/or income that will continue from the same source) and/or a co sponsor.
