Labor certified and I-140 approved as Professional E32 but Imm VISA issued as Skilled worker E31

Guys, the labor certification filed on my behalf was for Professional (EB3- E32) and so was for I-140. After that, I chose consular processing where NVC took over and instead placed it under skilled workers category(EB3-E31). I realized it later after the visa was issued because my lawyer was involved till then. I have been contacting him, but he is yet to reply. It’s stressing me out. Guys, have anyone of you heard or been through a case like this? Is this normal since both are EB3? I am really freaked out now since the visa is already issued and if I backtrack from Embassy to NVC, it may unnecessarily prolong the process.

Do you have a bachelors degree from a US university/college or accredited equivalent?

I have a masters in engineering from an accredited US university and a 4 years degree in engineering from Nepal. So yes.

That is interesting then.  In the end, I am not sure that it really matters or is something to stress over, but hopefully your lawyer will know more.

With the EB category, it is important that the job description called for a professional or a skill trade. In other word, the degree the person has is not the deciding factor of what category of EB the visa falls into, it is the job description. Otherwise, you will have people with Masters and PhD working at McDonald's just to get a green card.
