Quick Questions about K1 Requirements

Hello!

I have spent the last week preparing I-129F documents. We are currently living in Ireland and want to move back to the U.S. together.

Just a couple quick questions before I formally submit the application:

  • Do I need to send a copy of her passport/birth certificate with the initial petition? I followed the instructions on here as closely as possible and have triple checked anything, but I don't see anything about sending in her passport with the initial I-129F. But going through the RFE list, it looks like people's packets have been denied for not including this information.
  • Do I need to send G-325A forms along with our passport pictures? Again, I didn't see anything about this form in the assembly instructions here, but this comes up in the RFE list as well.

I would appreciate any help you can provide. I am all but ready to submit the packet and just want to clear up these confusing points before putting in the mail :)

Hi ☺️ I would say that everyone experience is different. Some people get RFE for something that other people dont.

My experience: We submitted my passport (I'm the foreigner), it's also good for showing the stamps if you travel somewhere together or to US. We didn't submit my BC as I brought it with me to the interview (but I guess it wouldn't hurt).

We didn't submit G-325A.

We sent both of our passport pictures with the initial petition.

I hope this helps ☺️

Here's a link to USCIS website with form and instructions which lists everything you must send with the I-129f. Remember send copies never never ever originals they will not be returned.

Good luck 😊

RFE list?  Maybe between 2+ and 20 years ago before the form was redesigned

YMMV
