NVC MISTAKE (VERY URGENT, PLEASE HELP)

Hello,  I'm really scared and worried. I sent an inquiry to Nvc asking for an email request I had sent earlier for name correction to be withdrawn. The agent that read my email interpreted that I wanted my petition to be withdrawn. I called NVC to find out the status of my case and I was told that they got a request for my petition to be withdrawn. I explained that I only wanted to withdraw an email request and not my petition. I was told to send another email explaining what happened so that my case can be resumed. Please has this happened to anyone before  ? I don't want my case to be withdrawn. I didn't ask for it to be withdrawn

I imagine if you follow their instructions to send another email, they'll make the correction.  They just need the email on record to correct their error, and can't make adjustments over the phone.  Hopefully it will get taken care of as quickly as possible.
