I’ve now been over here just over 3 years now. Just had the biometrics to remove the conditions off the original card. Just wondered if there was anyone else still about from the time I originally filed the K1?

I’m still around but not a K-1. I filed my IR-1 in 2016 and I’m also from Bournemouth. Fortunately I don’t have to do ROC. I’m eligible to apply for citizenship in September. It’s all going so fast. 

 

 

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

 

Now a US citizen!

Hoping to get my 10 year card here soon got an 18 month extension because they’re so far behind. It’s scary how fast things have moved. I miss Bournemouth a lot, haven’t been back yet hopefully next year.
